2009/4/9 0:00:00 16

Wang Yongqing, born in 1916 in Xin Dian Zhi Tan, Taiwan, was born poor. Her father was weak and ill. Most of them relied on their mothers to farm and support their families.

Wang Yongqing, 15, left his hometown to work in Chiayi and worked as an apprentice in a rice shop.

Wang Yongqing, who is diligent and studious, is careful not only to complete his own job of delivering rice, but also to pay attention to his boss's business know-how.

At the age of 16, Wang Yongqing opened his own rice store by his father's 200 yuan fund.

Faced with the pressure of many competitors, Wang Yongqing believes that hard work is a magic weapon that can change its predicament.

The store next door usually closes at six p.m., and he closes at half past ten.

In addition, Wang Yongqing also began to use some of his own skills.

For example, when he sells rice, he will ask the other person how many people there are at home, so as to estimate which day the family will finish eating rice.

Relying on this kind of intimate service, Wang Yongqing's rice shop is favored by many old customers, and he founded the rice mill.

With his friends' support, he started the timber business in 1943. Due to lack of relevant experience, he didn't return blood soon. This period is also the most bleak period since he started his business.

When he finally helped his friends, he was able to take steps in the wood industry.

With Japan's defeat and exit from Taiwan, the local infrastructure needed a lot of timber, so Wang Yongqing accumulated capital.

In 1951, the world's petrochemical industry began to thrive in East Asia after the war. At that time, Yin Zhongrong, the head of Taiwan's economic department, called for powerful private entrepreneurs to join the industry.

After examining the accounts of the banking system, the relevant departments found that Wang Yongqing, a timber merchant who started from the rice shop, was one of the most expensive entrepreneurs, up to ten million yuan.

Wang Yongqing accepted the recommendation of yin and entered the plastics industry. In 1954, he founded the predecessor of Formosa Plastics Group.

Wang Yongqing's age: died in 2008, at the age of 92, starting time: in 1932, I opened a rice shop, the first barrel of gold: lumber business, and I was unable to enter school when I was young. When I grew up, I had to earn a living, and I didn't have the chance to receive formal education.

To this day, I often think that due to the suffering in life, it is the spirit and courage to overcome difficulties. The hardship of my childhood may be God's blessing to me.
