Russian Ministry Of Industry And Trade: It Is The Best Time For Foreign Shoe Companies To Return To Russia.

Oleg Caseyev, deputy director of the Ministry of forestry and light industry of Russia's Ministry of industry and trade, said at the forum of all Russian footwear dealers held in Moscow that Russia's largest foreign shoe enterprises will now move back to China and call for the development of overseas Russian shoe traders.

Russia's Ministry of industry and trade has submitted to the Russian Ministry of Finance and the government the proposal to simplify the taxation procedures for shoemaking enterprises; third, the state has severely cracked down on counterfeiting and smuggling of footwear products, and the illegal import of shoes products has been reduced by 8% in 2009.

According to statistics from Russian Ministry of industry and trade, counterfeit and smuggled shoes account for 40% of the total market share in the Russian market.
