Rochas Designer --Marco Zanini
Marco Zanini is not a new name. Versace, who served as Halston creative director, helped the long awaited fashion house return to people's attention.
Although the two series of Zanini were all well received by the media, he quickly split up with Halston, for reasons unknown. Last season, Zanini moved to Paris and became a new designer of Rochas.
In 2006, the parent company Procter & Gamble group of Rochas ended the fashion business of the brand and abandoned the star designer Olivier Theyskens, hoping that the advent of Zanini could change the fate of Rochas.
The last Rochas series of Zanini took the theme of 1940s as the theme, but the simple dress and knitted jacket did not carry too much 40s mark. I believe the new series will still be on the sophisticated but not old-fashioned French style. The more significant change lies in the way of distribution: the last season is a low-key static display. The new series will move onto the extension platform to receive more tests from the audience. It is easy to see that Procter & Gamble has confidence in Zanini.
The fashion show will be held on the afternoon of September 30th at the Museum of human history. It will be the first big show of Paris fashion week this season. It is also the first large-scale conference of Rochas in the past three years. Judging from Zanini's past works, he has quite strong strength but lacks Packaging skills. His design seems too simple and restrained, just like the beautiful lining of the skirt. Only the discerning eye can find it.
Earlier, Barneys department put Zanini's Rochas debut in the window to support the table, which the designer needs now is as much attention as possible.
