The situation is not optimistic.

In 2011, the world customs and business forum was held in Guangzhou from 24 to 25. The General Administration of Customs of China joined the 400 representatives of the world customs organization, other international organizations, customs and business circles in Canton.

Chen Xiaoying made the above statement on the 25 day's forum briefing.

Chen Xiaoying said that the growth of China's exports in 2010 was largely a revival of growth after the severe impact of the financial crisis. In 2011, China's exports grew autonomously. Looking ahead to China's exports in 2012, the current situation is not optimistic.

Chen Xiaoying pointed out that the unstable and uncertain factors of the current world economic recovery have increased, and the economy of major economies has been on a downward trend. The situation of international trade continues to fluctuate, the phenomenon of trade protectionism rising, and the uncertainty of RMB exchange rate are affecting the world economic and trade situation.

Chen Xiaoying said that in 2011, the world customs and business forum was held in Guangzhou. It is based on such a situation that the forum issued the Guangzhou declaration calling on customs and business circles to work together to put forward the international customs and business cooperation to deepen cooperation, promote trade security and convenience, and work together to revitalize economic growth, so as to jointly cope with many challenges in the post financial crisis era.

Chen Xiaoying said that promoting the economic development and supporting the healthy development of Chinese enterprises is the bounden duty of the Customs Department. At present, the Chinese Customs Department is actively making efforts to eliminate trade barriers, strengthen Customs cooperation, reduce the cost of customs clearance, and help small and medium-sized enterprises.
