The first step is to see

First of all, you must check the washing water mark of the clothes before washing, that is, the washing instructions. Generally, the washing instructions will be at the seams on the inside of the clothes to see whether the water temperature requirements can be machine washed and how to dry them.

Step 2 Soak

In general, it is appropriate to wash clothes at 30 ℃. Fully soak the down jacket in clean water to wet it, so that the fibers inside can be cleaned when cleaning.

Step 3 About detergent

The poultry down in the down jacket is a protein fiber, and fat on the fiber surface plays a protective role. If washing powder is used for cleaning, its strong alkalinity will destroy the fat protective film on the fiber surface and penetrate into the fiber, making the down lose its original softness, elasticity and luster, become dry, hard and aging, and shorten the service life of the down jacket. Therefore, it is best to use special detergent for down jacket cleaning. Since they are neutral, they can reduce the damage to protein fibers, and can maintain the luster of the down jacket fabric and the fluffy inside after washing. If there is no special detergent, neutral detergent can be used for washing. Put 20-30g down jacket cleaning agent in warm water and soak down jacket for another 20 minutes.

Step 4: Look for stains

Find all the dirty and easily dirty places on the down jacket, such as the neckline, cuffs, hem pocket The surroundings, around the zipper, under the sleeve, and on both sides of the body are all the places that are most likely to get dirty. You must find out the stains in advance, and do not imagine that the washing machine will clean them for you.

Step 5 Cleaning

After finding it, use a soft brush (I recommend using an old toothbrush) with detergent to gently clean the dirty areas, and then use a larger soft brush to clean other areas that are not too dirty. Step 6 Rinsing

If you use alkaline detergent, after rinsing twice, add a few drops of vinegar to the water and rinse again, because vinegar can neutralize alkaline, so that the clothes can be rinsed cleaner. In the process of machine washing and re rinsing, there is a drying procedure, so the problem is not too big. When washing by hand, you should rinse clean. When washing, you must not let the concentration of alkaline detergent be too high, or I may be too stupid. Anyway, when I wash down clothes by hand with washing powder, no matter how many times I rinse, I never rinse clean. Hehe.

Step 7 Dry

I won't say anything about the machine wash, but we must control the time and gently shake it. After hand washing, try not to wring it with your hands. Just squeeze the water out with two hands along the grain.

Step 8 Drying
