It is reported that Carlos Falchi=, the founder of the famous luxury brand handbag Carlos Falchi, died of brain cancer.

The good news is that the Carlos Falchi brand will continue in the coming time, according to the Carlos Falchi family.

Carlos Falchi was born in September 26, 1944 in Belo Horizonte, a city in southeastern Brazil.

His original name is Carlos Antonio Perreira, but after joining the fashion industry, it is more surnamed Falchi.

Falchi, a young boy who studied in the military academy, worked in the post office of Rio De Janeiro after graduation, where his artistic talent was successfully applied to stamp design.

In the middle of 1960s, he came to New York to find a nightclub waiter in Max 's, Kansas.

In life, in order to save money, he used all kinds of bits of leather to make clothes for himself during the day, because it would hardly waste any leather.

When he arrived at the nightclub in the evening, his homemade jacket attracted the interest of frequent bar owners, and this was also his first batch of users.

Carlos Falchi handbags are characterized by soft texture, bold colors, collage design, and some fur dyeing materials of exotic animals.

Over the years, he used animals including crocodiles, pythons, aneaters, buffalo, frogs, ostriches, water snakes, etc.

Recalling the scene of the year, Falchi said in an interview: "at that time, the guests at the bar asked me where I got a jacket that was full of fringed patterns, and I told them I made it myself."

Falchi's fashion career began with hand sewing leather costumes for Patti Smith, Miles Davis, Tina Turne and Mick Jagger.

"In the 70s of last century, in order to let my luxury department store Henri Bendel see my own design clothes, I personally designed a bag containing several of my clothes.

When they arrive at the store, they like my pants and jackets very much, but they are very fond of their bags. "

In 2002, Falchi said in an interview.

President Geraldine Stutz is a very influential figure in the retail industry. He persuaded Falchi to attack the bag design.

In 1980, WWD magazine evaluated Falchi's buffalo bag as "the most imitation bag in the industry".

At the end of 80s, Falchi's studio in New York had employed more than 300 employees, and then had problems and had to shut down for a while.

During the suspension of the studio, Falchi continued to design and successfully revived the brand in 1997. Until 2009, a private company Windsong Brands LLC and Marvin Traub Associates set up Falchi Holdings LLC, which bought the global brand and related assets of Carlos Carlos.

Falchi continues to serve as design and creative director. He also says he always hopes that people who understand brand operation and global business management can support him behind the scenes so that he can have time to focus on brand building and design.

Falchi has had two marriages, and now the design director and chief executive of Carlos Falchi Couture senior custom is his daughter, Kate Falchi.

Today, Falchi's handbags are sold in Bloomingdale department store, Henri Bendel department store and Saks Fifth Avenue department store, which sells for thousands of dollars.

His clients include Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and Nancy Regan, the first ladies of the United States, not to mention the celebrities of contemporary celebrities such as Shharon Stone, Sarah Jessica Parker and Madonna.

Some of his works were designated as permanent collections by the Metropolitan Museum of New York.

He also won the honorary achievement of Coty Award, and won the lifetime achievement award of the American Accessories Association in 2004. He won the nomination of the two best costume designer award in 2004 and 2006 respectively.

All his bag production has been completed in New York, and he has helped guide many designers.
