At present, there are more than 5000 retailers and distributors.

Lin Xiaohai, vice president of Alibaba group and general manager of retail business division, said that retail outlets hope to take this opportunity to share big data with brands, try to create simple business opportunities for small stores, and also bring new choices to end consumers.
Participating brands said that the strategy of retail sales would enable them to embrace big data, achieve on-demand production, and use the retail platform to reach consumers in the three or four tier cities.
For small shops, through this exclusive supply of goods, we can optimize the commodity structure, highlight the differential competitive advantage, shorten the intermediate distribution link, low price purchase, and get higher profits.
"New manufacturing" is one of Alibaba's "five new strategies", which enables manufacturers to achieve on-demand customization with big data, cloud computing and Internet of things, aiming to produce products around the needs of the market and consumers.
