Five Departments Organize The Second Batch Of Industrial Integration To Be Applied For Pilot Cities

The Ministry of industry and information technology, the Ministry of finance, the people's Bank of China, the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission and the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) issued a notice a few days ago to organize the pilot application of the second batch of industrial integration.

In principle, cities (districts) at or above the county level can apply for the second batch of production integration as pilot projects. Focus on supporting the major national strategies such as the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, the development of the Yangtze River economic belt, the construction of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay area, the overall regional development strategies such as the development of the western region, the revitalization of the northeast and the rise of the central region, as well as the declaration objects that meet the requirements of the national major productivity distribution, have achieved remarkable results in implementing the relevant major national decision-making measures, and are clearly praised and encouraged by the state. Cities and prefectures with obvious achievements in transformation and upgrading, as well as cities (districts) where the national new industrialization industry demonstration base, advanced manufacturing industry cluster, emergency industry demonstration base, small and micro enterprise entrepreneurship and innovation demonstration base are located, are encouraged to apply for pilot projects.

It is reported that the provincial competent departments of industry and information technology, together with the Department of Finance (bureau), the branches of the people's Bank of China, the agencies of the CIRC and the CSRC are responsible for the examination and screening of the application materials within their jurisdiction. The number of pilot cities (regions) recommended by provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government shall not exceed 2, and the number of cities (regions) recommended by cities separately listed in the plan and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps shall not exceed 1. Relevant departments will continue to track the progress of the pilot work and timely evaluate the effectiveness of the work.
