China'S First Keqiao Textile Intellectual Property Rights Protection Center

On October 26, the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) officially approved the construction of China Shaoxing Keqiao (Textile) intellectual property rapid protection center to carry out rapid protection of intellectual property rights for the textile industry. This is the first rapid intellectual property rights protection center in Shaoxing City, and also the first rapid intellectual property rights protection center of textile industry in China.

China Textile City is a "golden card" of Zhejiang's reform and opening up, and is the foundation of Keqiao city and industry. As the core node of textile industry chain in Textile City, pattern design has always been the top priority of creative industry. In the process of building "International Textile City" at a high level, the cultivation and protection of intellectual property rights will be more and more important to promote the unique advantages of "industry + market". Keqiao District explored and practiced the administrative protection path of textile pattern industry and commerce, and achieved remarkable results. However, with the adjustment of institutional system and relevant laws, the related work is facing new challenges.

In the future, the "fast maintenance center" will integrate the functions of rapid rights protection, rapid pre examination of pattern design patent, and public service of intellectual property rights, so as to realize the unified management and service of intellectual property rights such as copyright, patent, trademark and trade secret. Specifically, the center will share data with the State Intellectual Property Office to provide enterprises with a patent protection channel for fabric pattern design. The authorization time has been compressed from the past 6 to 8 months to 7 days. At the same time, the center will also introduce a number of intellectual property public service institutions and market-oriented service institutions to provide enterprises with intellectual property pledge financing, intellectual property trusteeship and other services, so as to realize multi-functional cross level, cross department and cross category "one-stop" processing.

It is reported that the "fast maintenance center" will start construction in November and is expected to be officially put into operation in May next year.
