"Oriental Dragon" Dancing German Textile Museum
The German textile exhibition with 120 pieces of embroidery in Germany's West Textile Museum on January 11 attracted the attention of Chinese people.

Walter Blix, an Asian textile expert and curator, said that the concept of dragon in Chinese culture is totally different from that in the West. It symbolizes imperial power and vitality flowing through all things. The Chinese Dragon Robe and other textiles on display are colorful, exquisite and well preserved, which are of great value not only to Europe but also to the world.
According to Annette Schick, director of the German Textile Museum, the special exhibition will last until May 2021. Although the museum has to be closed from November 2 to November 30 due to the impact of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, it is believed that many people will come to visit the museum when it reopens.
