South Korea Xiaoxing Plans To Add 15000 Tons Of Spandex Production Capacity In Turkey

Recently, South Korea's Xiaoxing group announced that in order to expand its share in the European high-end market, the company will invest about 60 billion won in Turkey's kyrgyzkoy region to build a new spandex production plant with an annual capacity of 15000 tons. After the new plant is completed and put into operation, the total spandex production capacity of Xiaoxing group in Turkey will be expanded to 40000 tons / year.

It is understood that Xiaoxing group started to set up production base in Turkey in 2008, and has made additional investment twice since then. Xiaoxing group said that the establishment of a factory in Turkey has several advantages: first, it is conducive to rapid trading based on local geographical advantages; second, it can better meet the needs of customized customers in Europe; third, the European market has advantages in high-end technology, which is conducive to the company to provide more stable products.

A survey data from the US business information company shows that, affected by the epidemic, global consumers are paying more attention to home wear and casual wear, especially those that can be worn indoors and easily out of doors are favored by consumers. As an important elastic fiber, spandex can increase the elasticity of home clothes, improve the comfort of consumers, and the market demand is also increasing. In the next few years, the global market demand for spandex will continue to grow at a rate of 6% ~ 7% per year.

Xiaoxing Group officials said that affected by the epidemic, factories in the European market had been in a state of production suspension, fiber production was greatly reduced, the new product listing plan was also forced to be postponed, and the problem of insufficient inventory of enterprises was relatively common. However, the epidemic will eventually be over, and the company is expanding its investment to meet the growth of demand for spandex in the global market in the next few years.
