Henan is a major textile province with thousands of cotton spinning, chemical fiber, textile machinery and other related enterprises. For the sudden natural disaster, many textile enterprises have been affected to varying degrees. With the gradual reduction of rainwater, subsequent production and transportation will gradually return to normal.

The influence of cotton spinning enterprises is limited

Henan Province, as an important pure cotton spinning base in China, is mainly concentrated in the central and western regions, Zhengzhou and Xinxiang are more serious. Luoyang, Xuchang and other places were affected to varying degrees. Most of the textile enterprises in Henan are concentrated in villages and towns, and the production is not affected, but the logistics operation is slightly limited. And Zhoukou, Zhumadian and other parts of the textile enterprises said that will continue to operate according to the order, replenishment has not been affected.

It is reported that there are about 20 million spindles in Henan, and cotton spindles are mainly concentrated in Kaifeng, Shangqiu, Nanyang, Xinxiang, Jiaozuo and Pingdingshan. Nanyang Xinye is a famous cotton textile city in China. Its products are mainly pure cotton yarn, with 40s and 60s as the majority. The production enterprises of human cotton yarn in Henan Province are concentrated in Xinxiang area. Since the rise of Xinjiang yarn, there has been no growth of human cotton yarn in Henan Province. At present, most of the human cotton yarn enterprises are in the contract processing state, and the products are mainly ring spun rayon yarn and ply yarn. In terms of cotton spinning raw materials, the total production capacity of local polyester staple fiber is 250000 tons, and the production capacity is concentrated in Luoyang. At present, there is no viscose staple fiber production capacity in Henan Province, but there is a capacity of 90000 tons of Lyocell in Xinxiang area, and there may be a new Lyocell plan in Zhoukou.

Since July 17, in the face of heavy rain, Xinxiang has actively responded to the heavy rain. However, at present, the average starting rate load of local cotton yarn is still less than 30%. The shutdown of Fengquan district is obvious, and Huixian, Huojia and Weibin Districts maintain proper load operation, but the transportation has been limited. However, before the heavy rain, such areas have been affected by power rationing, and the overall starting rate of cotton yarn is low.

It is understood that the main plant area and subsidiaries of Henan listed company and nylon production enterprise Shenma Co., Ltd. have not been greatly affected. Xinxiang Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. has taken preventive measures in advance, so the production is normal and the transportation has not been significantly affected.

In addition to the factories in some flood areas of Zhengzhou, most of the other non-woven and medical enterprises are located in Xinxiang and other places, which are far away from Zhengzhou and have little impact. But at present, it is in the stable period of PP non-woven fabric, and the plant operating rate is general. At present, the flood season has not had a great impact on the orders of PP non-woven fabric factories.

State security of cotton warehouse

In Henan Province, cotton planting and processing are less, but trade and storage are relatively concentrated. In Zhengzhou, the worst affected by the rainstorm, the number of cotton planting and textile enterprises is not large, so far, the local cotton warehouse has not come to irrigation, disaster, etc. The follow-up flood discharge and logistics transportation will have an impact, but as the weather improves, the impact will not last long. Moreover, the actual trading volume of domestic cotton is not large at present. Based on the high position of raw material inventory, the urgent delivery volume is also limited.

After the flood, the national cotton trading market first learned about the situation of three cooperative warehouses in Zhengzhou (432, Henan Yumian and Henan logistics park of China cotton group). At present, all warehouses have entered the state of full combat readiness, and the safety of personnel and goods is ensured by flood prevention facilities such as sandbags and pump. Among them, 432 of them can normally handle business with China Cotton Henan logistics park. Because Yumian is close to Zhengzhou, the nearby high-speed exit and the railway special transportation lines in the warehouse have been closed. In addition to Zhengzhou, the exchange market has also made an understanding of personnel, goods safety and business acceptance in other regional cooperative warehouses in Henan Province. At present, the overall operation is relatively normal.
