China's textile and clothing exports are calculated in US dollars: in September, the textile and clothing exports stopped falling for four consecutive months and resumed growth; The export of that month increased by 2.66% year-on-year, 18.81% higher than that of the same period in 2019, of which the textile export increased by 27.08% compared with the same period in 2019, and the clothing export increased by 13.34% compared with the same period in 2019.

From January to September 2021, China's textile and garment exports totaled US $227.594 billion, a year-on-year increase of 5.61% and an increase of 12.7% compared with that in 2019. Among them, the textile export increased by 17.97% compared with that in 2019, and the clothing export increased by 8.53% compared with that in 2019.

In addition, China's textile and clothing exports are calculated in RMB: from January to September 2021, the cumulative export of textile and clothing is 1473.89 billion yuan, which is 2.63% lower than that of the same period last year, and 6.65% higher than that of the same period in 2019. Among them, the textile export increases by 11.81% compared with the same period in 2019, and the clothing export increases by 2.58% compared with the same period in 2019.

Experts in the industry pointed out that the current epidemic situation is still spreading around the world, the recovery of the world economy is unstable and unbalanced, the external environment faced by China's textile export is complex, and China's textile and clothing export will still face a test in 2021.
