China Cotton Association: Textile Cotton Demand Weakened, Turnover Inventory Reduced

In September, under the influence of double control and double reduction policy, the start-up rate of textile enterprises decreased, new orders decreased, and cotton demand weakened. At the end of the month, China's cotton turnover inventory continued to decline, the decline rate was reduced month on month. According to the survey data of 154 cotton delivery and supervision warehouses in 18 provinces and cities of the national cotton trading market by the cotton logistics branch of China Cotton Association, the total turnover inventory of cotton in China was about 1.0669 million tons at the end of September, with a decrease of 163200 tons on a month on month basis, which was smaller than that of last month and lower than 282100 tons in the same period of last year.
