Lei Limin, President Of China Textile Commerce Association, Paid A Visit To The Mayor Of Dusseldorf, Germany
On the afternoon of October 24 local time, Lei Limin, President of China Textile Commerce Association, met with Mayor Stephen Keller in Dusseldorf City Hall, Germany. The two sides held a forum on further deepening exchanges and cooperation between the Association and Dusseldorf City, and promoting the progress of related industries through the exhibition industry. Li Jianhua, the former president of the Association, Liu Zhili, the director of Convention and Exhibition Department I, Dina, the CEO of Dusseldorf Exhibition Group, Kaulman, the executive director, Wiseman, the global project director of A+A, Ma Ruibo, the general manager of Dusseldorf Exhibition (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Zhang Wei, the project director, and others accompanied the meeting and participated in the forum.
At the symposium, Lei Limin first reviewed Stephen Keller's visit to the 104th China Labor Protection Products Fair in April this year and the signing of a memorandum of cooperation with the Association on overseas exhibitions of the Labor Protection Association.
Lei Limin said that after 57 years of intensive cultivation, the China Labor Insurance Association has demonstrated the scale and strength of internationalization, specialization and marketization in terms of exhibition scale, number of visitors, exhibition services, etc., highlighting the industry style of manufacturing in large countries. The 104th session of the Labor Insurance Council held in April this year has once again set a new record in the history of the development of the Labor Insurance Council, demonstrating its strong ability to plan and organize exhibitions.
China Textile Commerce Association and Dusseldorf Exhibition (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. stand at the commanding height of the industry development and reach strategic cooperation, so that the Labor Insurance Council will continue to penetrate the international market, and build an international trade channel and trading platform for domestic and foreign PPE manufacturers and relevant practitioners. In June 2024, the Thailand Labor Protection Trade Fair, co sponsored by China Textile Commerce Association, Dusseldorf Exhibition (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and Dusseldorf Exhibition Agency Asia Co., Ltd., will be held in Bangkok, which is also the first overseas exhibition of the Labor Protection Fair. With the efforts of the teams of both sides, the exhibition recruitment and various preparations are being carried out in an orderly manner. This year marks the tenth anniversary of the "Belt and Road" initiative. As an important country of the "Belt and Road" and the "21st Century Maritime Silk Road", Thailand will become the first stop of the overseas development strategy of the Labor Protection Council, and will certainly open a new development mileage of the Labor Protection Council.
Lei Limin said that in recent years, the Labor Insurance Commission has actively "gone global" and led Made in China to the world. In this A+A exhibition, 579 Chinese enterprises participated in the exhibition, with an exhibition area of 6200 square meters, of which the number of exhibitors has exceeded that of German local enterprises, ranking first. We believe that the strong cooperation with Dusseldorf Exhibition Group will usher in new opportunities for the Labor Insurance Council to graft the international market and participate in global cooperation, usher in a new situation for the high-quality development of the labor insurance industry, and hope that German enterprises will actively explore the Chinese market in the future.
Stephen Keller deeply agreed with this. He said that he hoped the two sides could open up more cooperation opportunities, welcomed President Lei Limin and his delegation to Dusseldorf, and wished the visit fruitful.
Later, the two sides exchanged gifts and took a group photo in the city hall. Lei Limin presented Stephen Keller with silk scarves representing Chinese silk technology and traditional Chinese folding fans, and welcomed him to visit Beijing and Shanghai again. Mayor Stephen Keller expressed his gratitude for this and hoped to visit China again.
