Lian Wenming has devoted himself to the front line of cotton breeding research for 27 years. With his tireless scientific research spirit, he led the team to cultivate 11 cotton varieties in the "square inch" experimental field and promote planting in southern Xinjiang. Over the years, he has won the title of Outstanding Communist Party Member of the Corps and the First Division of Aral City, and in 2023, he became the winner of the National May Day Labor Medal.
