In May, the main categories such as washing machines, furniture and mobile phones accelerated, with an increase of 33%, 21.3% and 20% respectively.
Industrial e-commerce promotes the integration of data and reality
The Ministry of Commerce will work with local governments to support e-commerce platforms to deepen the "transaction+industrial chain" model, focusing on monitoring the growth of the B2B platform transaction volume by 6.5%. The application effect of new technology is obvious. Artificial intelligence technologies such as image and text generation, intelligent selection, and digital man on duty help businesses reduce costs and increase efficiency, and the utilization rate has reached 20% to 30%. "Promoting agriculture through digital commerce" promoted the efficient connection between production and marketing, and the online retail sales of agricultural products increased by 24.7% driven by models such as direct sourcing from the source.
Silk Road E-commerce deepens international cooperation
A new memorandum of e-commerce cooperation was signed with Serbia and Bahrain, and the number of "Silk Road e-commerce" partner countries expanded to 32. China and Iceland carry out the docking of products and services in the e-commerce field. The institutional opening of Shanghai's "Silk Road E-Commerce" cooperation pilot area was accelerated, and three high standard institutional innovations, such as cross-border mutual customs clearance, were promoted in the Yangtze River Delta. The "Silk Road E-Commerce" cooperation research center held more than 300 training sessions for partner countries, established the "Silk Road E-Commerce" international think tank alliance, and increased the number of partner country pavilions to 26.
The digitalization in the business field has been steadily promoted
Deeply implement the Three Year Action Plan for Digital Commerce (2024-2026), and jointly with 9 departments, issue the Opinions on Expanding Cross border E-commerce Export and Promoting Overseas Warehouse Construction. In the first quarter, the proportion of cross-border e-commerce in exports rose to 7.8%, driving export growth by more than 1 percentage point. Actively create a good environment for digital enterprises to go to sea, and the scale of foreign direct investment in the digital field continues to expand.
