Can Clothes Really Prevent Mosquitoes And Bacteria
Entering the first 5G cotton spinning smart factory in Fujian, the scene of "thousand people yarn, ten thousand people cloth" no longer exists: hundreds of spinning equipment run at high speed, few workers are seen, and the big data platform presents real-time data, which can monitor the whole process production of the workshop at any time
"We have installed sensors and gateways in each device, which can sense temperature, humidity, energy consumption, etc. If the data is abnormal, there will be indicator lights and information alerts, and on-site personnel and management personnel will intervene in a timely manner." Ye Puqing, deputy general manager of Fujian Jinyuan Textile Co., Ltd., said: "Through technical transformation and upgrading, the production cost of each ton of yarn can be reduced by 200 to 300 yuan."

Also facing the pressure of rising costs of labor and electricity, more and more textile industry "giants" have realized cost reduction and efficiency increase through technological transformation.
"Cost leadership is the ultimate strength of competition." He Zhuosheng, General Manager of Hengshen Group's chemical fiber sector, said when talking about cost reduction and efficiency increase, he felt deeply that "when the price difference between raw materials and products is getting smaller and smaller, cost reduction can maintain profits."
Through technical transformation, the production capacity is improved, the process is optimized to realize the recycling of energy consumption, and the intelligent manufacturing is introduced to reduce the labor cost... Hengshen Group continues to control the cost and seek benefits from internal control, and achieves the largest scale of chemical fiber raw material caprolactam in the world. At present, Hengshen can produce 1.7 million tons of caprolactam annually, accounting for about 25% of the global production capacity, and it is the world leader in the caprolactam industry.

In Changle District, Fuzhou, where the textile industry is concentrated, enterprises seeking development from "new" are not only relying on new technologies, but also "marching" into new materials.
The traditional garment making process goes through "spinning weaving printing and dyeing". After the cloth is dyed through "printing and dyeing", a large amount of waste water will be produced and the environment will be polluted. Now there is a new textile material that can solve the color problem from the source of "spinning".
In the exhibition hall of Fujian Yongrong Jinjiang Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Yongrong"), there are hundreds of colors of nylon yarn that dazzle people. Liming, director of the fashion clothing R&D department of the company, introduced that these colors were added with the original solution coloring technology in the production of nylon filament, and the link did not need water, which was green and environmentally friendly. In 2023, the sales volume of colored yarn products will exceed 20000 tons for the first time.
Nylon, also known as nylon fiber, has strong elasticity and wear resistance when added to clothing fabrics, and is widely used in extreme sports, outdoor sports and functional clothing fabrics.
The R&D team of Yongrong has successively developed more than 30 functional nylon filaments with sun protection, cool feeling, mosquito prevention, anti-bacterial and skin friendly properties. For technological innovation, Liming said that "it has been racing". At present, Yongrong has conquered the core technical barrier of post consumption recycling of waste clothing. Soon, post consumption recycled nylon fiber has been used in brand clothing. To the satisfaction of the R&D team, the production of Yongrong nylon civilian filament has occupied the first place in the world.

The largest production base of nylon civilian yarn in China, accounting for about 1/3 of the national production capacity; The largest production base of chemical fiber blended yarn in China, accounting for about 1/2 of the national production capacity; The largest warp knitting lace fabric production base in China, accounting for about 3/5 of the national production capacity. Changle has developed from a mosquito net yarn to a textile industry cluster of nearly 200 billion yuan, creating "three business cards" of China's textile industry.
"At present, Changle District has formed a whole chain industrial chain development pattern from petrochemical chemical fiber raw materials, chemical fiber, cotton spinning, knitting, dyeing and finishing, clothing, textile machinery and other industries. It is a county industrial cluster with the most complete textile industrial chain in China." The relevant person in charge of Fuzhou Changle District said.
Now, Changle Textile is "new" to improve "quality", so that traditional industries "sprout" and glow. In 2023, Changle will rank first among the industrial clusters with an annual gross industrial output of more than 100 billion yuan in China's textile industry; The textile new material industry has been selected into the national list of characteristic industrial clusters of SMEs in 2023.
