　　 On July 31, the "2024 China Plant Dyeing Industry Development Seminar and the Annual Meeting of China Textile Federation Plant Dyeing Standardization Working Group" was held in Wuxi. The meeting was guided by the China Textile Industry Federation and co sponsored by the Plant Dye Standardization Working Group of the China Textile Industry Federation Standards Committee and the China Textile Construction Planning Institute. For traditional industries, the formulation of national standards is very important, which has raised the national standards to a new height leading the optimization and upgrading of traditional industries. He used cases such as PVA free sizing to show the role of standards in promoting green development of the industry. At the same time, he also affirmed the environmental protection, health and carbon saving characteristics of plant dyeing from the perspective of printing and dyeing industry, and put forward new requirements for balanced development of bio based printing and dyeing and other printing and dyeing technologies.
