Binzhou Intelligent Textile Industry Cluster Was Selected As Advanced Manufacturing Industry In Shandong Province

Recently, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province announced the list of advanced manufacturing clusters in Shandong Province in 2024. A total of 10 manufacturing clusters in the province were selected, including Binzhou intelligent textile industry cluster. Since 2023, the selection of advanced manufacturing industry clusters in Shandong Province has been carried out in two batches, and 20 advanced manufacturing industry clusters have been identified. Binzhou lightweight aluminum new materials and intelligent textile industry clusters have been selected.

In recent years, Binzhou has completely, accurately and comprehensively implemented the new development concept, shouldered the responsibility of "walking ahead and taking the lead", and made remarkable achievements in promoting development through innovation, building advantages in industry, and increasing vitality in manufacturing industry. Binzhou's textile industry has become a dominant pillar industry in Binzhou, showing four characteristics: large cluster scale, many leading enterprises, strong technical support, and excellent characteristic brands.

In 2023, Binzhou's intelligent textile industrial cluster will achieve an output value of 184.4 billion yuan, making it the only industrial cluster north of the Yangtze River that exceeds 100 billion yuan; The production capacity or market share of six products, such as yarn, cloth and handmade carpet, ranks first in the world or in the country, and more than a dozen products, such as cotton heating functional fabric and multi signal sensing yarn, take the lead in the world or in the country, enjoying the reputation of "covering the world and weaving in Binzhou". Binzhou has been awarded the titles of "jointly building a world-class household textile industry cluster pilot area", "national textile industry base city" and so on, and has been selected as the national consumer goods industry "three products" strategic demonstration city.

In the next step, Binzhou Bureau of Industry and Information Technology will take the creation of advanced manufacturing clusters in Shandong Province as a new starting point, promote the cluster development to speed up, improve quality and efficiency, continue to improve the industrial chain, value chain and supply chain, seize the momentum and take the initiative to build more competitive advanced manufacturing clusters, and make new and greater contributions to the high-quality economic development of the city.
