Environmental Protection

With the increasing attention of textile and garment industry to environmental issues, many textile enterprises in Japan have accelerated the development of eco-friendly materials.

In July this year, the eight G8 summit of the western countries will be held in Hokkaido's Toya lake. Environmental protection will become an important topic of this conference. Japanese textile enterprises hope to take this opportunity to publicize their efforts in environmental protection.

Japanese textile enterprises have repeatedly stressed that "natural fibers are recycled fibers". They have increased the intensity of product development of organic cotton and recycled fiber, and some have even made special trade names for eco-friendly materials, and plan to expand their sales scale in the future.

Eco environmental protection is written into the future planning of textile enterprises.

In order to cope with the environmental changes, the company has formulated the "protection of the Earth Environment Charter". Every year, it releases the environmental protection activities carried out by the company in the form of environmental protection report.

Based on the concept of HumanFriendly, KURABO actively develops new technologies and products that are conducive to the protection of the environment.

With the increasing concern of environmental protection in all walks of life in Japan, enterprises have intensified their efforts to develop eco-friendly materials.

Since 2008, several textile enterprises have issued the Declaration on environmental protection.

Nissin textile company believes that enterprises can achieve sustainable development in the face of environmental problems such as global warming and so on. Therefore, it is proposed to "build the company's strength to build an eco-friendly enterprise".

The company has just launched a new medium and long term plan in April this year, and explicitly put forward the idea of "building an environmentally adaptable enterprise" as the focus of its recent work.

In the recently formulated "vision of enterprise development", the Japanese wool weaving company put forward the slogan of "good for people, protect the environment and create a warm enterprise group".

Actively developing eco-friendly materials, Japanese textile enterprises all emphasize that "our company is a natural fiber based enterprise, and is willing to make greater contributions in protecting the environment".

Therefore, the major textile enterprises have increased the development of eco-friendly materials.

DAIWABONOI started the project called "EcoFriendProject" in March this year. It plans to introduce a series of materials that can reduce environmental load, improve safety, reduce energy consumption, and facilitate recovery and decomposition.

In 2007, the company launched the fabric that can decompose and eliminate allergen, and has begun to sell to the market.

This year, we plan to introduce a new material called "ecological restoration", which is characterized by maintaining hydrophilicity and removing dirt at the same time, thereby reducing environmental load.

At present, KURABO has launched two series of eco-friendly materials, namely, the anti stretch wool fabric "EcoWash" processed by ozone treatment and the "BioNature" blended fabric of polyester fiber and cotton which can be decomposed at room temperature.

Recently, the company has introduced the "EarthDenim" made of waste silk and rags.

The product has appeared in KURABO's internal exhibition, which has attracted the attention of the industry.

KURABO's affiliated subsidiary, Tai Zheng textile company, has also been committed to the development of eco-friendly textile materials, which account for more than 80% of Japan's domestic cotton.

Tai Zheng textile has decided to increase the use of natural fibers such as wool and hemp, and strengthen cooperation with enterprises such as Mo Lilin and other enterprises in the field of research and development, and strengthen the position of the company as a "textile enterprise with natural materials as raw material".

There are many kinds of natural textile materials. SHIKIBO has developed a series of environment-friendly materials, called eco technology, which involve 25 kinds of products, such as energy saving, environmental protection, safety and so on.

Among them, the majority of natural cotton series, including nuts, sucrose fiber, hibiscus fiber and other products.

NYSE spinning developed a new yarn "LoreleiTypeV" using high-performance viscose fiber "yiloff".

The characteristic of this product is that the pulp is made from the eucalyptus, and then the fiber is generated.

In the Textile Conference held this spring, Nissin also introduced banana fiber, which was praised by the industry.

It is reported that Nissin also plans to increase the export of eco-friendly materials.

Japanese wool weaving company emphasizes that wool can not only be decomposed in soil, but also renewable. It is a representative of eco-friendly fiber.

In this spring's JC, Japanese wool weaving company has set up an ecological environmental protection material booth to introduce the "WithWool" blended product of wool and high performance fiber produced by the company.

In the future, Japan's wool weaving program will apply "WithWool" products to men's clothing, women's wear and uniform fabric production, so as to further expand the popularity of this product.

Strong and strong joint launch of new products, Nissin textile, Japanese wool weaving and Emperor's fiber and other 3 enterprises jointly launched the "triangle group project", plans to launch the second generation of eco-friendly material series "ecological future" in the 2009 spring and summer fabrics.

This series aims at enhancing the comfort and functionality of the polyester fiber "EcoPetPlus" and other materials, and expanding its use in the field of clothing.

The main product of the company is viscose fiber.

The company has been promoting "viscose is the green ecological fiber", and recently developed Kenaf viscose fiber with kenaf stem as raw material.

Although viscose fiber, which is made from wood pulp, is also a natural fiber that can be decomposed in soil, the exploitation of wood means destruction of forests.

In comparison, the production of Kenaf viscose fiber will not consume forest resources.

Therefore, the mid-term business plan of the company began in 2008, emphasizing that the core competitiveness of enterprises will be enhanced by strengthening various functional rayon materials such as KenafRayon.

Recently, more and more clothing enterprises began to adopt eco-friendly materials.

There are more and more commodities such as natural cotton and other eco-friendly materials in the clothing sales area of some hypermarkets.

Uni has launched a natural cotton shirt in its own brand shirt. The proportion of natural cotton is controlled at around 10%, mainly in order to control costs.

On the whole, the sales of goods in the shopping mall "considering environmental protection and not losing fashion" are good.

However, in order to occupy a place in the market, eco-friendly clothing needs hard work.

A clothing production enterprise clothing person in charge said that if can not form in the department store, the clothing shop, the supermarket and so on forms the eco-friendly clothing shop, but merely labelling on the label "Eco", the eco-friendly clothing is difficult to form the scale, will certainly affect the clothing production enterprise to develop the ecology environmental protection commodity enthusiasm.

Against this background, some clothing companies are trying to develop eco friendly clothing for the supply of large brands, while trying to develop eco friendly clothing in an exclusive store.

KAITAKKU international, ASUTHI, Lu Xi'an, Alta Moda and other companies have already started such an attempt. Clothing enterprises can be regarded as "waiting" for the appearance of eco friendly clothing stores.
